Klinger has extensive experience with the LEED process in addition to having five LEED Accredited Professionals on staff. We are also members of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Klinger's experience also includes the Mesa del Sol/Advent Solar project which was one of the first LEED Certified industrial office/warehouse buildings in New Mexico. Many green design elements were integrated into the construction materials themselves. These materials utilize components high in post industrial and post consumer recycled content, reducing the strain on our energy resources. Many of these materials are manufactured or harvested locally, minimizing expenditures of energy and helping to slow the green house effect by reducing vehicular emissions.
Klinger has provided pre-construction and construction services on the El Corazon de Santa Fe Condominiums and Santa Fe's Lloyd & Associates office building that included many LEED elements. These include water conservation, rainwater harvesting, selection of interior materials including recycled materials for flooring, computer controlled lighting with motion detectors, insulating systems that minimize energy consumption, windows that provide light with minimum heat gain, natural lighting and recycled materials in structural blocks.
In addition Klinger's mechanical group, worked on a LEED Certified Sandia National Laboratory project. The LEED Action Plans included waste management, use of recycled materials, regionally manufactured materials, construction indoor air quality, HVAC product data, as well as adhesive and sealant products data.
